Understanding the meaning of Thaipusam (from Wikipedia.org)

Thaipusam (Tamil: தைப்பூசம்) is a Hindu festival celebrated mostly by the Tamil community on the full moon in the Tamil month of Thai (Jan/Feb). It is also referred to as Thaipooyam orThaippooyam in the Malayalam language. The word Thai-pusam is derived from the month nameThai and Pusam, which refers to a star that is at its highest point during the festival. The festival commemorates both the birthday of Murugan (also Subramaniam), the youngest son of god Shivaand his wife Parvati, and the occasion when Parvati gave Murugan a vel (spear) so he could vanquish the evil demon Soorapadman.

Implementation of 4ft Sensor & Auto Gate system

Soon, we will have the 4ft Sensor & the auto gate system install at our guard house. Residence who usually wind down the car window no longer need to do that. By flashing the new Touch & Go card inside your car would solve the problem.

You can now start to purchase the new Touch & Go card in order to have access the new 4ft Sensor.

Corridor Light-Up Lighting Testing

The management and the committee had decided to conduct a corridor light-up lighting testing.
The main reason behind this test is to find out ways to help reduce the monthly electricity usage at our Condo (Our average usage is RM5000)

During this test, the committee found out that there are 2 switches that controls the corridor lightings for each block.


At Block A


When all the lights light up.



Switch 1 is turn off.

and when switch 2 is turn off... The following view can be seen.
One side of the staircase is totally dark and very dangerous. Due to safety concern, the committee decided to turn off switch 1 after 12 midnite everyday.

At Block B

When Switch 1 is turn off.

and when Switch 2 is turn off, the following view can be seen....
We can see that Switch 2 turns off more lights and is turns the building into very dark condition... The committee finally decided to turn off Switch 1 around 11pm because Switch 1 lightings does not affect the lightings condition in Block B...

Hopefully, we can see some reduction is the electricity consumption at our condo.. Will update you all with the savings....

Chinese New Year Celebration

Chinese New Year (The Year of the Tiger) is just around the corner. The committee had decided to organize a party for the residence. Unfortunately, we realized that we do not have huge fund in our management fund and we also can't find sponsorship in such a short period of time.

In order not to let everyone down by cancelling the first event or collect money for this first event from the residence, the committee had decided to go for Pot Luck Style.

14th day of the Chinese Lunar Calendar

Time: 7.00pm ~ 10.00pm
